Has anyone put a different tail section on a 900 CBR ?
I seem to remember this being discussed but Ill be damned if I can remember where I saw it. It was either a R1 tail or a 954 tail.
I know there has to be some fab work done thats OK I know just the person to do it.
Thanks for any leads guys.

Yeah, do you know where I could get a 20 year old ass end swap for my current 30 year old model?

Sorry Coldviper, couldn't help it.

Yeah Calkidd if we could figure that mod out we would be wealthy men.
Dont ya wish girlfriends were as easy to mod as bikes? Well as least I can have one tricked out babe. :D

Well, mine is the wife model and comes with a lot of mods. Diamond ear rings, diamond tennis braclet. Don't forget about the going out to dinner mod.

And the list goes on and on.

I once saw early Blade's tail swapped with SP-1 tailpiece except for different rear lamps... looks nice. :)

Yeah, my bike is leaning against the wall, both handlebar ends a ground down anyway, and it looks pretty cool there. I did the work inside my livingroom over the winter. I took my time, but it's a lot of work, lots of cutting and clever thinking. My bike still supports a passenger.

lol, After my wife has the baby saturday, her tail will be right back the way I like it. Small and athletic! lol

I totally like the mod, infact I was looking for it for about 4 months when I reloaded my computer. I had it saved. I was thinking about doing this mod this winter, but I still cant find a complete end for cheap... Im still rebuilding the bike again, I'll deff post pics of what Im doing and working up to the end results... I'll get those posted this weekend. I know firbladerunner and a few of ya'll saw what the bike looked like when I got it and the results after a couple months of rebuilding it. Now I have it tore apart again and Powdercoating Everything that can be coated till my plastics get back from alabama from paint...
