well , here it , i finally went to the track again with my 929 / powerd with a 954 engine , well lowerd too the ground and a air shifter and a two bros can , well what can i say my best that day was, 1/4 mile 9.94 with 140 mph , ok stock swing arm ,60ft i dont have. the system didnt give it , there was somthing wrong did a few more nine´s but that was the best that day , now i'm going too strech my baby and see what she got . A freind has a gsx 1000 did a 9.98 short too but he streched it and did a 9.65 just by streching it , so i´m very optimistic of mine , here´s my slip , but you cant see a thing, its on the right

my launching happens between two too three thousand rpm , ok i'll keep it reving up too those numbers when the light hits green i'll pull the throtlle open and start releasing the clutch till i feel the head wanting too go up hold the clucth untill she pulls away , well it takes alot of practice actualy, i'm aruond 200 pounds , and did 9's with it but i have no powercomander or any kind of fuel manegment system , all motor ,ok only a airshifter, and a slip on , valve eleminator kit, guted airbox thats it,

put a power commander in the bike BEFORE you blow the motor....the thing is runnig wwwwaaaaaayyyyyy to lean...you could get better times with one as you get to control the fueling to make it smoother and stronger..........up to you but you did just put the motor in right? can you afford another one?

well,i think if the motor blows i'll have too aford one , i saw a 1000 rr engine on e bay wonder if it fits  , yeh thinking of geting a power comander again .the thing is had a powercomander on the bike when i had the 929 engine , the bike drove better without the powercomander , couldn't get it tunned .properly now , when i got this 954 engine i didn't want one because i didnt feel the diferance in the old motor,i still dont think i'm running lean , i can see the black mist when i pull the throtlle hard, i think i'm getting enough feul , but i'm going to get a fuel nany or some thing , i dont really beleave in power comander

the 1000rr will not fit not even close to fitting

the power commander only makes the bike run poorly if you don't tune the t-bodies to the map....basicaly a sync.

as a honda tech and a fi expert you are running lean....chec your plugs.....they are white. my 929 was tuned a hell of alot more than your current 54 and it ran very hot without the pc.....to lean..

FYI TO EVERYONE THE F.I. IN BIKES TODAY WILL NOT AND DOES NOT "LEARN" YOUR MODS!!! IT IS NOT A CIVIC WITH SENSORS EVERYPLACE IN THE MOTOR AND A 64 BIT SYSTEM OF PROCESSORS.

the power commander is the ONLY system to use everything else is crap....bad wiring, ****ty connectors, etc. the fuel nanny and like paper wieghts were designed for harley davidson's.........those are twins that fire way differently than an in line 4.......

use what you want.....every bike that has had anything other than the pc in it i have had to remove because of issues like killing the batt. unable to tune out the flat spot etc.

if you got money to burn...........

Depends what you want to do with it. I'd check E-bay for a decent priced powercommander.

I've got a PC3 in mine, or Pc3usb, Pc3r(if you want to adjust timing...)

I think the PC2 would be fine as well.

I managed to pick mine up used for half what it would cost me new.

As far as I know, the powercommander for the 929 will work with your 954 engine.
I've been told that 929/954 PC3 etc. will work on either bike, so if you can get one for cheap you'll be laughing.:D

yall wanna know somthin funny? all 900/929/954/f41 bikes have mechanical timing.....the pc cant adjust timing unless it is electronic....the only way to advance it is to replace the rotor......even says so on the packaging.

kind of funny huh?

oh by the way all you can get for the 954 is a pc3r or usb.

and the 929 is a different electrical system the ecu is 16 bit the 54 is 32
which means you must get a pc made for the 54.

well about my 954 its stock no fuel management system yet had one when i had the 929 engine under it but now i got the 954 engine so , i'v seen two gixxers here did there pass short and slamd i´m right with them so they should be ashamed , any way about the turbo system i got every thing at home , intake manifold exaust manifold every thing , some times thinking of putting this engine turbo but , i´ve spent 4000 $ getting this engine to aruba , so its not easy , i meen these engine's have alot of weak points so i dont think i want to gamble it again .
:)
