I was contacted this morning by Honda Europe and they asked if members here can take the following survey here is the information - Its seems to be for current owners - But I am sure anyone can give their opinions:

hi Brent

Honda R+D are carrying out a survey for customers of new Hondas, of which the 2006 Blade is one It'll be a great help if you could put it up on the site. I've put a few words together and a picture of an Blade sketch, if that helps?

Thanks!

Have a say in the design of next generation Hondas

If you would like to have your say in the design of future Hondas, then you are being invited to take part in a new Europe-wide survey for Honda.

If you've purchased a new 2006-model, then the research and development team behind your new motorcycle want to hear your feedback which could influence the design of future models from Honda.

So, if you own one of the new-for-2006 models such as the awesome Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, the practical CBF1000, the NTV700 Deauville tourer or the PS125 scooter, then you have until the end of August to tell us what you think of your new machine.

The survey is simple to complete and will take only eight minutes of your time. To go straight to the survey, simply enter:

into your web browser.

See the concept drawing attached to this thread

They sent that "concept drawing" to you? It's a little dated... that was the concept drawing for an '04 model. Flat gray lowers were gone in '05, and big body work change for '06, most notable the fake vents under the headlights were trashed.

They can build an attractive bike, but isn't it still heavier than the 900RR and isn't it still considerably down on power compared to the R1, Gix1k, and KawiZX10R?

I think the new ZX10R is goddamn hideous, but throw enough power into a light package, and I'd buy something that looks like Judy Dench with wheels.

I'll throw 50 lbs of lead on my pillion and challenge ANYONE on another brand bike, 600 or 1000, to get a way from me. Who cares how heavy it is? I've passed sportbikes @ the Gap on a Goldwing...

Heavy bikes aren't as flickable and fun. You could argue that a sumo-sized fat girl is as good as a model, since in they've both got a warm gooey center that'll feel the same. But I'm sure the lighter, curvier one is going to be a lot more fun.
