Stupid question...
How the hell do you set the time on a 929? I've had enough of 1:00am flashing at me!!!

Figured it out!!! You need to press the right button a fraction of a second before the left one so the minutes start flashing. Press the right button to set the minutes then press the left button to continue onto the hour section and once more for am or pm. Leave for about 10 seconds and then it is set!
