I'm trying to find out if a 190 tire and rim will fit on my 1999 900rr?

Most deffinately.

I believe Big Kahuna's 98 900rr cam stock with one.

reason i'm asking is i want to put a rim off of a 929 on my bike.

True, if you are on a track and watching the stopwatch. On the street I don't believe there is really that big of a difference.

Plus, I like the look of that fat tire on my bike.

Thats why I have it on my bike. It looks nicer with a fat tire back there, kinda fills it in a bit more.

My buddy has a 929 and that fat tire looks a lot better than mine and i am working on buying a track bike i don't want to get my good looking bike all scratched up.

That is my hesitation in wanting to go to a track school. Just don't want to down my bike.

I have heard (not a true source of info) that if you damage your bike on a track, insurance will not cover it. Is that really true?

I have heard that also, but don't know if there is any truth to it.
