Just traded in a 97 600 f3 on a black and yellow 2001 CBR929RR. It had been sitting at this dealership for a few years now. It had only 715 miles on it. I was a little nervous about purchasing a bike that has been sitting for so long, but it seems to run fine. I never could have imagined the difference this bike would make compared to my old F3. This bike is superior in every way. I just love it. The only thing it needed was the clutch recall. Some guy purchased it and said it hurt his back and traded it in on a Harley. Lucky for me. Anyways, I had a few of questions. What is the stock horsepower of this bike? What is the HP increase and advantages to adding a slip on compared to a full exhaust? Is adding a power commander worth it or necessary? Is it worth the money adding a full exhaust or power commander? I like how quiet the bike is right now, but cant stand the stock pipe. Should I also replace the stock filter? Does this bike still need broken in? Any advice is appreciated, thank you
