What 17 inch front is a straight bolt up for a 98? Preferably in the 5 spoke design. Im sick of limited tyre choices!!!

I hear its the F4I front wheel. I seen one on ebay I thought about getting, I too am having a hard time trying to find a tire for my rim.... Something I will look into later, but I seem to read that its the F4I. I have a friend that has a 98 with a 96 rim, So its pretty much the same. aslong as you dont go with the older models that have the speed cable. then you'll need a spacer.

Never heard of that before. You can go to CBR.NET, there are alot of people there that have done this swap before. And Fireblades.org. I know there are several people there that have done this with the F4I rim.'

Actually it's the CBR600F3 front wheel that is a direct fit to the 900RR.

ok here it is ........the F3 wheel will fit a 9 up to a 97...... a 98-99 has a differant bolt pattern at the rotors......the same as a F4, not a F4I, all you need to do to a F4 wheel is to machine .100 off each side where the rotor bolts. then make new spacers..... .100 wider on the right and .090 wider on the left. the rear will slip right in.....

The F4 is the CBR 600 F4. There are several CBR 600 models :

CBR 600 F
CBR 600 F2
CBR 600 F3
CBR 600 F4
CBR 600 F4i (inyection)

for the F4 take a look at :

http://www.motorsports-network.com/HONDA/F4test/f4.htm

F4 is the model of the bike.

Take care
