Well...my greatest fear has became a reality. I have a baby boy on the way, and my other baby has to go. I need the cash needless to say. But once things die back down, I will have another blade. Well, for those interested here is the link to the ebay auction. I would end early for the right price. Just email me at josephmcclure@yahoo.com if you have any questions. Thanks, Joe

Sorry to hear, sellintheRR. Err, I mean LovintheRR. :D
Just make sure the "I'll get another one someday" happens. Like all the people that think they can quit smoking, I've seen too many people get screwed in that situation to where the wife/girl doesn't live up to her promise later... ;DOH
Hopefully you get some good money for it!

Well hopefully you'll still be around here...? So as to not lose touch?
Sorry to hear, man. Make sure you get another. Set a deadline RIGHT NOW. Like "I'll have a new bike by ______" (next year, two years, whatever) And then stick to it, or it'll never happen. Just advice. :D
Get a decent price for it, hopefully?

I wondered if that one was someone on here!!! I saw it and said "Damn, that is actually a clean RR for Ebay standards?"
Sorry to hear you sold it, but I hope you got what you wanted for it.

I didn't do too good considering what I had in it. I got $5200 for the bike and a brand new Icon Mainframe Manic helmet that I got to wear three times. Well, I am going to start drinking now, see you guys later.

Well better sold then how I have lost all my blades. But sorry to see a fellow biker bikeless, it just ain't right. Goodluck and congrats on the baby boy. He'll be flat tracking before you know it :D
First was in a fire working on the bike getting the mods done and getting ready for a trackday (lost house with it), T-Boned Mini Van when driver made left turn in front of me, T-Boned Chevy Malibu when driver made left in front of me. Both T-Bones were the exact same situation. 4 lanes with turn lanes, I was in far right lane and the left lane backed up. Space is given for those in opposite directions turn lane, and they just come through without looking at the right lane.

OK, so this dick drives 2 hours to look at the bike. Rides it, falls in love with it, says he'll take it. But he is a soldier at ft. cambell, and his money is at his bank in Columbus, OH ( I guess he is from Columbus). He asks if he can pay me with paypal, I say "HELL NO!" So he says he will go home and call his bank in the morning and see about wiring the money to my bank. I say cool, (my wife works at the bank and she would know that the money was there before I let the bike go.) Well the next day My cell goes to hell and quits. So I call him to give him my wife's work # and cell #. He answers, says he is about to call that bank in about an hour when he gets off work and then he will call my wife. Meanwhile, I end the $39 ebay auction early so I don't get hit with any closong fees should it meet reserve. Well......that is the last I have heard from the f___ing dick. Now he won't respond to emails or answer his cell. SO....I still have a 99 CBR900RR for sale if anyone is interested. Make me an offer.

I was in campbell. I remember when I hit the soil I wanted to buy a bike. I was also told NO BIKES allowed on post. strange.. Also, what soldier would have an account in a different state? I mean there are over 15 banks there in Clarksville and 2 on post. Doesnt make sense.. Sorry about having to loose the bike. nice looking though.. Maybe there can be something you can work out with the wife.. Sell a kidney or something.
Well, Good luck man...

OK, listen to this. He finally emailed me and said his wife took the car and cell to Nashville. So I called again, and he answered and said he still wanted it. I am starting to get a wierd feeling about this. I agree, it doesnt make any sense that his bank is in Ohio. What do you guys think? I think I am gonna give him a day or two and then relist it if he hasnt got me the cash yet.
Oh yeah, I am actually making this sacrifice myself. I have 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan cruiser. I loved having both bikes, but the CBR is paid for and the Vulcan is not. I dont mind the Vulcan payment, but I need cash to finish the nursery and buy baby furniture, so I am selling the one that is paid for. BUT, I am not completely bikeless, I am bladeless:( .

Unless he gives you cash or certified check (or equivalent) tell the guy to pack sand.

I'm with Calkid.
As soon as someone shows me anything
that indicates that his colors are less than
straight up, I don't need the possibilty of
any bullshit.
I'm attached to my money and my stuff.
You may not like it, respect it. That's on you.
I won't take any kind of worry or concern as
far as deals go.
I work real hard and not gettin' burned.
I don't do well with people like that.
My antisocial history just naturally breaks
the surface.:EG

Well She is a very nice looking Bike, I would buy it if I had a Co-signer the bank would give me the loan since I paid off my other bike, but my credit still sucks... Damit I hate the way people (especially Financial instatutions) look at people, I have bad credit from 6 years ago making a bad judgement, since then I have only applied for my bike loan and made every payment on time and paid my loan even after my bike was totaled by the Insurance company. I have also made every one of my payments on my 1996 Explorer and if I was going to be late I made arangements way in advance to keep them informed... but yet with 2 vehicles and over 3 years of payments I still cant get the loan with out a dam co-signer.... system has you by the ...... well you know what I mean.... I am going to keep looking and hopefully I will find some thing and then I can have a Daily Rider and my old bike can be a Track bike.....

Truman,
Yea, it sucks.
Been there done that.
It ain't fun.
I have remembered ever since
I dug my way out of over 10K debt.
Keep up the good work.
I mean, I wanted to buy my first car in
years and the bank wouldn't give me
1K for an old junker subaru.

I thought you were joking, actually I hoped you were joking. I couldn't magine buying a bike I havent seen or rode and then trusting to have it shipped O/S safely. But I guess people do it though.
