changing the exhaust angle.

Hi,

I would like to alter the angle of my exhaust pipe.
I wish to angle it a bit more (eg) in sted of 45degree i need say 75/.
Can i buy an adaptor that fits onto my exhaust?

Your best bet is to go to a muffler shop and have them bend a piece of pipe the way you want it. Take your bike to them and have them mock it up that way you minimize mistakes and re-do's.

Make sure to use Stainless Steel and not mild steel. The cost savings is not worth it. But you might be surprised how cheap it ends up being...

Also ask to see samples of work they've done. Make sure the bent tube is smooth and doesn't have an indent on the inside of the curve... If it is, go to another shop. THere's a right and wrong way to bend tubing, but I'm not sure which way does what...

As far as bends, it is really not a right way or wrong way that is described here. The method Jawhn is talking about is either mandrel bent or straight bending. Actually I don't know what the second type of bending is called, but you can tell by the indention on the inner radius. It is the mandrel bending that makes a nice radius with out the indention.

yall frogot hydroforming....by far the best way to shape metal and keep the same thickness and shape throughout the part.

Well that is factory stuff and he probably will not find a "local" guy that does hydroforming. But yeah, most of today's headers are hydrofromed.
