i have a 2003 cbr 954 and there is a clunk noise coming from the tranny. it happens every few seconds but is not in sync. when i pull in the clutch it goes away. anyone have similar problem or heard of this. it only has 1200 miles on it but the person who had it before me laid it down. no damage to the motor. just cosmetic.any info would be great. i took of the oil pan and the gears all look good. i also took the clutch apart and it was fine. anyone know if when i took apart the clutch there is that center where the plates go into, does it matter where that is positioned because i spinned it to see the gears move to inspect them. i don't know if that matters. thank you

Time to buy a SERVICE manual.....

If I remember tomorrow I will look it up and see if I can find out anything...

But I have to say that if you work on these bikes at all you HAVE TO BUY the Honda service manual.... it is a must...

There could be a good chance you missaligned something.

Like Brent said get that manual and check out if you might have put the clutch back together wrong.
