Just purchased a suomy ventura helmet and really like it. Comfort is great and there is very little wind noise. Johnny

I always used Arai helmets until recently. My Adamo Arai helmet was way out of date. I heard good things about the Scorpions so I tried one on and was floored by how comfortable it was. After seeing the price, I couldn't help but to buy it. I got one for my wife, too.

Puzzle, I hear ya.
I was the same about Shoei helmets.
Had been using them for 20 years.
The RF series could have been molded for me it fit that good.
I to switch to Scorpio a couple of years ago.

Fit and function is very good.

During a chat online with japanese, he turned me on to a motorcycle helmet
review that has some less than flatering things to say about them.

Japanese, can you put up that link to that helmet article again?

I'm still in the thinking stage on it.

Just information for you to be aware of.

It is not always the case "you get what you pay for." I have the Scorpion EX-700 and love it. It is the best fitting helmet I have had plus the price is right. I have a hard time spending $500+ on a helmet.

That is the same model that I have. Mine is solid black (shiny). The wind noise is a lot less than the Arai and the cooling is better, too.

If I had the money, maybe spending $500 for helmet would be worth it, but I picked up two Suomy Vandal's. One for the wife and one for me. Same ones that the pro's are using. I love the testing standards that Suomy use. Tried on the scorpions, and they really impressed me, but the Suomy just fit better.

I am just a sucker for the Arai. On my second one and the wiffey has one to. The only thing that kind of pushed me away from Suomy when I was looking is that the front of the helmet didn't look like it came too far past the chin. But that is just semantics
