Same for me. Running Firefox on XP/Vista/Ubuntu.
Logged out and cleared browser cookies, seems to be working so far...

Nope, not working correctly. Still get error when trying to get in. The fault seems to be when the page is trying to display profile info. It looks to be "/profile.php?do" that causes the problem.
Now I'm on Vista and IE 7. So it's not software related on the client, something in vBulletin more likely.
Everything else works when I manage to get past that page and into the forum.
Bugger...

Mine just started acting up today... :CONF
I have the homepage bookmarked, but had to Google into the forums page before I didn't get the error.
Hope that helps a little

Yea, this happens to me occasionally.
It appears to be that best of all computer things, a flakey that shows sometimes and won't show at others.:o
I get to the site by book mark and occasionally it leaves and tells me it
can not find the page.
Or, it will let me get to the page and login and then it'll kick me back to the
can not display page.
I then have to google in.
Of course I am logged in as being here when I get back.;DOH
What I have found that limits it the most is getting to the site,
going somewhere in the site such as to forums and then logging
in and it usually works that way.
It ain't no big thing to me cause I have always been able to find a way
in with out too much trouble.
it is irritating sometimes

I ran into this problem as well. It has something to do with the new private message indication when you access the forum. I went straight into my PMs and cleared all the new messages and haven't had the problem again.
I've received new private messages since and everything seems to be working fine.

Hopefully it's just because of Firefox, but I've been having no problems whatsoever... :z
I do use IE at work, the newest on my PC and a really old version on my Mac, and haven't had a problem yet... (Like version 4.5 on the Mac)
Maybe it's just good luck? I'm wondering what's going on and feel for you guys... :CONF

I just updated the forums to the new patch. They mentioned something about a problem with firefox but I thought I remember it being a security issue rather than performance.

Well I finally experienced this. Three times now. I'm in California and using my cousin's laptop. Weird.
I just hit the back button twice, and it goes to the "Thank you for logging in, jawhn" and then works fine. But initially it gives me a "This page cannot be displayed" type error.
