New to the board...and CBRs

Hey, guys! I just picked up a `94 CBR900RR off of Ebay from California. It's black with a polished frame, and Lindeman Engineering reworked suspension, front & rear. It will need a new speedo drive (which I just purchased, again off of Ebay), a new rear tire (recommendations, anyone?), a new clutch cable & a new drive chain. I'm selling my old bike, a `93 GSXR750 that gave me more problems than I care to think about...and can't wait to get my new bike! It'll be here in about 1 1/2 weeks. Heh heh heh...

Welcome to the forum and to Honda. You have made a great choice.

As far as tires they are all great tires. It depends on your style of riding and preference.

I have personally been through Mich Pilots, AVON Azaros and now on a set of Perellis Diablos. So far I favor the Diablos out of the three.

I Had Pretty Good Luck WITH Sportec M1's. They're Pretty Good For The Money. I Also Starting Using Tomahawk Retreads And They Work Real Well Also. I Took Them Out To A Track Day At V.i.r. And They Stuck Like Glue (race Compound).
