I don't know what to say. I feel really bad since the transaction occurred on this site.
We all need to maintain a professionalism here when selling or buying from other members.

Maybe we should start a reference thing up? just a thought. I mean its always a touchy subject when buying and selling things online. Its sad that someone on the site has to do something like that, but again...something could of happened. Never give up man. Besides you have the piece of paper on the MO, have it canceled and get your money back...

I wrote an email to Scrapyard, but I am not sure if I should send it. Don't know if it is my place to do so.

Sorry bro, he was here for sometime, posting, but he just disappeared. I guess on the bright side it was only $35.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to stand up and be accounted for on this one.
The unfortunate matter is the top clamp was lost by the post office.
The whole story is shortly after sending the part out to Snake I relocated to SC. Up untill today I have been without internet service. Hence the reason I was unable to respond. In the process of weeding out the 400+ emials I've missed over the past couple months I read through the emails sent to me regaurding this matter and realized the package never made it from point A to B. So obviously the situation is being resolved as we speak. Snake will be refunded in Full and I'll bite the bullet on this one. No problem what so ever.
My appologies to Snake for the inconvienece and the unneeded stress. And I hope this clears up any doubts or fears that there are scammers among the board members. There should be no need for this kind of delema in the first place. I am quite fond of this board and ya'll have been very insiteful and helpful to me in the past. Again, My appologies and a little word of advise. Spend the extra couple bucks on UPS ;)

I ship all my parts out with insurance and tracking #'s. It only costs a few bucks and no problems on either end. I highly recommend that. I like to make sure i've got a good name with the people who give me their money. ;)

I think the idea of a rating system or telling each other of dealings between us is a good idea.
I have a situation right now that I am trying to be patient about, but am getting fed up with the situation. However, I don't want to talk crap about someone or make the situation worse. If that person reads this, and you know who you are....lets fix the problem.
Back to the subject....the rating system is a great idea.
