Hot Crotch

The 954 seems to vent right where it counts. This isn't so bad on a cold morning. But on a hot California afternoon it can be quite uncomfortable.
Has anyone found a solution for this?
The bike's temp is usually between 185 and 205 deg. F.

Never had the hot crotch problem, I just usually get really hot legs and ankles. Oh and to cornfed........ride around like that and the term skin graft will become common place :D

I get this on the 900 when the tank is low on fuel. Fill it up, and the gas keeps the tank from heating.

And that picture is this crazy Mormon kid we know. As per average for Mormons, he's exceptionally nice and all. But he's gone down too hard too many times, and has no short term memory. It's kind of sad, but the kid is absolutely hilarious. He's always practicing stoppies. He'll get some really nice ones, and then two minutes later will have forgotten them and is back at it practicing again.

mine gets bloody hot too.

in leathers i don't feel it or in proper bike jeans but in normal jeans i learnt to ride sitting on the tank and ride like a mini bike. oggy knobs make good footpegs

That pics going to give me nightmares now...... Glad to say i haven't seemed to have any problems with crotch baking on my 1000.... Of course I always wear leathers as blayne mentioned also :)

yep, it gets pretty hot, expecially when running low speed. traffic and such.

Don't know why the air goes there, because there is rubber flap under the airbox. this should keep the air out of the frame area. Maybe it's not the air from the radiator, it just the engines radiated heat. Maybe it needs extra fan somewhere to keep the temp down.
