Cut OEM Exhaust Can?

Wondering if anyone has ever modified the OEM exhaust can? I have a spare trashed can and was thinking messing around with it. Any thoughts?

Niked it. Great use of the word and phrase Nike. I cut the tip off about 3 inches then took bout afoot off the can was going to get the tip welded back on but wondered what might happen if I left the three inner pipes exposed. I didn't cut any baffles out. Will post pics when I get home.

it might mess with the performance of the bike im actually am cutting the can on my yosh rs3 very soon im tuning it tho as well....you might have sum backfiring with or without the tip thats mostly for looks

Worse case, back fires? I havent had it out yet as there is a couple feet of snow still...but its going to hit 13 degrees celcius this week.

ya and maybe a rough idle but it shudnt be to bad, if you plan on sticken with it i wud get it tuned, im taken 5inches off my yoshi RS3 and i cannot wait to hear how it sounds....its goin to be 54 degrees farhenheit here in ohio next day or two

I cut 7 inch's off my two brothers and it sounds amazing plus the looks
Do it I took the rivits out out the 7 inch's and put it back together it sounds
