Bikes: blade - hornet 600
Default replacing rear shock

replacing my rear shock on my 99 model RRX..
will a shock unit from a 97 model RRV.. FIT OK.
as the shock unit is 5-mil longer
as i can get a RRV model unit new very cheap??
(ex old honda stock ) sabbath

what part of the shock is longer the rod or the hole shock. there is an ajustment on the shock to make it longer or shorter. also most people make adjustments that include raising the rear a couple of mm to make turnin faster. i think it would work ok, and would make the bike turn great. also tire choice will affect rear ride hight so mabe it wouldn't make any diffrence.
