quick question...fractured screen wouldnt that be visual???also i removed an refitted it like it mad of solid gold didnt force or strain at any point due to the fact i know how sensitive they r...i will however pull em off an have a look at the joints

Not always, have a look around where the legs of the LCD exit, sometimes a small crack/discolouration around it, is a good indication. But check for solder bridges first! I would.... Also check around the legs of the LCD to the board as it's a double sided board just to make sure it's contacting on both sides, sometimes on extraction with the wrong heat you can pull the joining through copper link.

If it was one of the LEDS you've fitted the background green would be either dull or simply not working around that particular LED, but from the photo I don't see that. I'm about to rip mine off again and do the colour mod as well.

No braces, but plenty of speedo / rev stickers. Yours for the price of postage. (Normal envelope postage) And you have to post a pic in here after they've been installed.
    Hi Jawhn,

Any chance I can get one of those stickers from you? What is the price of postage to the UK and shall I PM you my details to get this rolling?

(I've had dials for about 18 months but just haven't had (made) the time to get them fitted - Lambchop even got me a mount and everything!!)

    Thanks,

    James.

    Hi Jawhn,

I'm planning on doing the F4i gauge swap, already got the gauges. I have read on the thread that you have or had stickers for the tachometer to match the CBR900 rev limit. I know it was a few time ago, but do you happen to still have or can you pinpoint me as to where I will be able to get them.

    Thanks,

    Richie

would these gauges work on a 93 cbr900rr. The 93 has a mechanical drive from the front wheel hub to drive the speedometer.

Yes. But you have to change out the front sprocket cover and use a speedo healer.

Are you using a speedo healer? The signal from the pickup must be modified electronically for the speedo to be accurate.
