Do you really have to rub it in?
I was going to ride this week, but I decided to wait out the snow storms and freezing rain.![]()

I hear ya.
When I was much younger(crazier?) the weather here would have
been considered excelent riding.
I'm old and grouchy so with the SoCal weather, I don't have to
wait months for "good" weather.
I'm drooling over Thursday!
It's on!!!!!!!!!!![]()

Well been working on the bike pretty much every day I'm off(which I only work 2 days then I'm off 2 work 3 off 2 blah blah). But I am polishing out the front rim as we speak. I'm using air craft stripper. Jeezzzzz I forgot how bad these chemical burns hurt. Thought I had rubber gloves. I found some chemical resistant ones from work but they only have the rubber on palms. Anyways enough ranting. Yea polished a rim.
Didn't touch mine today, but spent some time researching, and plan on buying some lightweight rims for her... Excited and nervous about spending this much money...

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.
Yep that's the stuff, aircraft stripper. Works good to stip paint, and burn tha hell outta skin.
And here is the out come. Just shined up the lips for now. Don't feel like sanding the inside, but looks better now.
on1- Looks good
I bought a Tru-ground, does that qualify as doing something?

I would think so lol.
Hey on1, you should paint the spoke part of the wheel Red now to match the bike. The red with polished lips would look very sexy!!!! Just saying it sounds sexy, "Red with polished lips"......Doesn't it???
Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cigar in one hand, beer in the other, body used up, totally worn-out and screaming, "WOO HOO, what a ride!"
I just ordered the CZ rims today.
And yeah, Tru-Ground counts. Hell yeah. Especially if you installed it today or it arrived today...
...still waiting for the cue from VSB_FAST... WHen he gets that red/black carbon weave, I'm gonna have my tank off so damn fast it'll just be a blur.![]()

Looks great on1!
Wohoo, got a 1 hour ride in this weekend. It was maybe 45F on Sat. Word of caution, the roads are COLD. Maybe 15 minutes into the ride, going to pass a car (55mph) downshifted and hit the gas, the rear end started sliding out from under me. Time to book it back in the garage and wait for that first rain, been thru to much w/ this bike to lose it now.
BUT to add to the list of things done to the bike, I got a letter back from the DMV saying everything is a go, and all I have to do now, is mail them some money. So, checks in the mail, and now it's back to being in a holding pattern.![]()
