I rode the Mrs' 97 CBR6 to work today 'cuz the RRX is currently in bits while I finish fitting the (free) scottoiler, new front indicators, hugger (Or removing it again) and making some LED indicators to fit in my clear tail light
I think I need to straighten my fairing stay too!

Red face Re: What did you do to your CBR today

Have just put on some parts that have been sitting on a shelf for the last 2 years.
I put on the Factory Pro gear shift detent spring and I have to say: It works.
Also put in some new clutch springs. A lot nicer than the stronger vesrah springs. They made the clutch a bitch to pull.
Changed oil and filter (only did 500 km last year, but ...)
    Changed the brake fluid
And then gave her good cleaning. That was much needed.
Oh, also put on a carbon front fender for a SC33. Looks great.

Next project is to get some new tires for my PVM magnesium wheels so I can put them on. Really looking forward to try them.

You know how it is when you lean back too far in your chair and almost fall backwards, but save yourself at the last second? I feel like that all day.

Put a 06 cbr1000 front end on my 98 cbr900. Installed 3 spoke rims and modded the rear swing arm to take the larger axle so to put a 6 inch rear rim on. much more to come.http://www.rrzone.com/forums/images/...e_Victoria.gif

    wassup zoners!
haven't been on here in a while... and i just started my riding season this august
but i have done a few things! here's some pics:
carbon fiber sprocket cover, front & rear huggers + changed the forks from 1000RRs 04-05 to 06-07 (stiffer). also polished master reservoir cap.
and sadly enough, i mis-estimated the spring range on thisbeautiful 3-way shock, it was too soft, so i went back to the ohlins that's too hard but i can't go wrong next time! mabee i bring it in this monday to put a tougher spring and re-swap shocks.

that's it for this year! more to come for 2012!

Got these, they are EBC 310mm Blackbird rotors, $140.00 brand new shipped for both, the new Vesrah SRJL pads cost more than the rotors

Used the hydrographic tank to put a CF look on the ol' valve cover.
