49 State Conversion

I have no idea about the valve sizes. Biggest reason is 919 stuff is more plentiful than the 893 stuff. I've been looking for an 893 crank for months now with no luck except for ones with outrageous prices. I'm debating on going ahead with that Blackbird motor swap and selling all my 900 stuff anyways.

LOL.... I just installed the 49 state cams, so I am done with that.

By the way, the Cali cams have R1 stamped on each of them (perhaps for Revision 1?), and the 49 state cams have R2 stamped on them (Revision 2?). That is how you tell them apart...

Oh okay, that makes sense. I've already mic'd them and have them seperated. Which doesn't do me much good now that all my shit is for sale. It's kinda sad to see all that stuff go...I've collected it for about 7 years now. Oh well, it's for a good cause.

What do you have for sale? Got a list? I need OEM plugs from the cylinder head spigots (the small bolt/washer combination).

RESURRECTION & EDIT of a 12+ year old thread....

They ARE NOT both marked R2. R1 is on the exhaust cam, R2 is on the intake cam of the 49-State version. When I pull/swap cams on this 1998 California (AC) bike, I will mic the cam lobes. At this point in my journey, the ONLY way to be sure which cams you have is to measure them, period.
