how to install gsxr 1000 tail on 900 RR

in my case i had to use the gsxr aftermarket undertail, because i used half of the 900rr battery tray (cut down after CDI see pic). But if you want to use the gsxr battery tray u won't have to buy now the aftermarket undertail, but is a little more work to do.

Dont worry you will see it. I ended up getting just the oem tailight. I went to this motorcycle junkyard and they gave me a deal on the tail light and the lock for the seat. I couldnt pass it up. The only think im waiting on now is my new subframe so I will be getting started next week

I didnt know anyone had ever even done this before till I signed up on the forum. I think I will have around 300 dollars in the finished prooduct. You should do it to when you get a chance

my appologizes but i didn't had time to go and check the wiring. although what i remember but not 100% sure, try the following: green (ground harness) goes to black/white (tail light), brown (running light harness) goes to brown( tail light) and brown/green( stop light harness) goes to grey ( tail light)

Finished Product. There are a few little things im gonna do to make it a little better. I still have to get an undertail but I couldnt wait to start riding it. Im real happy with it though
