    Yeah i drilled a hole next to the orginal mounting holes on the top beam, lifts it all up about 2 inches at the rear I would say.. I had to relocate the tank mount plate so it all fitted nicely.

    I stumbled across this thread a few days ago and have been inspired to attempt this. I have ordered a new tail subframe which i plan to modify but have no welding experience at all so will need to find someone to carry out this work. Is this thread still active as I have a few questions.

    Hi guys.Im new here and im building my 99RR for track bike.And im in the final,but my problem is the tail.I realy cant find 99 closed tack tail and i have to use an alternative.Can anyone post a pictures of 2007rr tail on 919 or,if someone has an info where can i find original 99 closed tail for my blade.Thanks.Sorry for the language,my english is not so great
