    Default The race today

Anyone else watch this? It was a wild one - amazing how much difference the rain makes. And the fallout from the Rossi/Stoner thing is going to last all season.

That really was crazy. Rain is the great equalizer. Stoner and Honda are gonna win alot of races this year though.

I think you are right about that - he looks to be way fast on it everywhere. There is a little twisted humor in the fact that it was the front end of a Ducati tucking that put him on his butt in the gravel again though. Cant wait to see what he has to say about it.

Sounds like the new Honda transmission is getting a lot of attention, too. Lucky Mr Stoner.

Rain always makes for an unusual outcome. I still can't believe Rossi managed 5th considering he crashed out.

Haven't seen the Moto2 race yet. Moto2 is usually a better race. The MotoGP finishing order is usually decided by the second lap.

yeah that was a good race
Shame about Rossi taking out Stoner

When they get together like that it always reminds me of laguna seca back in 2008

Rossi and Stoner were so far ahead from 3rd place, about 20-30 seconds? Stoner fell off, got back on again and didn't even lose 2nd place. Epic race

Seemed like Rossi and Nicky were both alot closer to being on the pace - hopefully they are getting that bike worked out so that will carry over to dry conditions. Would be good to see them up front fighting with Honda and Yamaha

Am I the only person who thinks that Rossi is a complete jackass for the move he tried to pull and ended up taking out Stoner?
In the rain, hard on the brakes, Duc with dodgy front end, Rossi with bum shoulder, fully leaned over, and this clown tries to take a chance on the inside line
Seriously WTF, I thought this guy was a pro rider.
You know how it is when you lean back too far in your chair and almost fall backwards, but save yourself at the last second? I feel like that all day.

You ain't the only one. That was a total DUMBASS move. He had no chance in hell of overtaking Stoner/Honda no matter what the weather conditions. I think his bony lil ass needs to find another hobby.

Definitly a bad move, he was way too far back to make that happen. If it had been some rookie that had just come up from moto2 that did that he probably would have been suspended or something but because its Rossi nothing is said.

Personally I think old age has caught up with him (that and he's stuck on a Duc) I remember when he was in 125 class and purposely slow down and let people catch him so he could pass them again. He was totally awesome in his prime. Now...not so much
