    Default power commander removal

Hi I have a 98 blade and it has a commander on it and was told I don't need it and it could be the cause of my back fire and to re oil the k&n air filter. I alway had my bikes done at dealers and this seems to be somehing I could handle. Would love some in put!!! Much appreciated
