    hello I have a 1993 cbr900 im having problem with one coil not firings the one that runs cylinder 1&4... I have changed the stator,regulator/rectifier,wires,coils,... it was running fine then all sudden I left a friends n bout 2 blocks awy lost half power I can not pinpoint it...any help would be appreciated!!! also ive been trying to test cdi box,,the 2 coils have a black/white wire which is power then a yellow/blue wire on 1 coil and a blue/yellow to other one all these wires go to cdi box ...so testing the wires at cdi box I have the black which has power but I got one of the blue yellow wires giving me poewer also but the other does not is anybody know which wires should have power to them at cdi box

    It sounds like you have a wire shorted out somewhere in the harness.

    I would point out that whichever coil works would have the desired voltage/ ground combination on the input wires.

    One way to test would be to bypass the suspected bad wires completely with a pair of new/know good wires.

    Do you have a wiring diagram for your bike?
    The only opinion, of how cool your bike is, that matters is your own...
