I just bought a 01 cbr929rr and is started grinding when decelerating in first gear. Decel in all other gears is fine. I tried narrowing things down by going thru the chain and sprockets they all look good I tried rolling the bike while off and in first gear, with a hard enough push it pops and rolls then pops again like it catches the gear then rolls again. It has absolutely no problems accelerating. Trying to see where I should start here I was thinking many the shift fork?? Anyone ever had a similar problem??
